Technical Illustration
I was tasked with creating a replica of the tire stock image provided. Beginning with a technical illustration of an outline using Adobe Illustrator, and an illustrated ‘render’ using a software of my choice as the finish.
I was given a week to complete this task, the process was completed in under 4 days.

Using a combination of anchor points and direct selections to edit vectors using the ellipses and line tool, I create the technical illustration that will act as the basic outline for the render.
The ‘render’ was illustrated through ClipStudio Paint.
The darkest shade of the tire was eye-dropped and filled in, which was then used as a base to digitally paint over using the spray brush and eraser.
The process was then repeated for the rim, along with any finishing touches for the shadows using a lowered opacity pen tool.
